Its thickness, which is 5 mm, effectively evens out minor irregularities in the substrate.

The installation of Express 5 mm panel underlay - as the name suggests - is simple and does not require specialized skills. It is important to properly prepare the substrate before starting work - it should be clean, dry and even, and the cement surface should be insulated with a vapor barrier film.
The underlay mats are laid grooved side down, taking care to keep the edges of the mats as close together as possible, but not in direct contact. For greater stability, the mats are spot-fixed with paper tape. It is also important to lay the underlay at a 45° angle to the direction of the panels, which ensures a better fit and durability of the floor.
