Made of XPS material, i.e. extruded polystyrene, it is lightweight, highly resistant to moisture and has excellent insulating properties. Thanks to this, the floor is protected against damage, and the interior gains better acoustic and thermal insulation. The accordion shape means that the underlay can be quickly and efficiently laid out. The 2 mm thickness allows for subtle leveling of unevenness, while at the same time providing ideal support for the panels, extending their lifespan and improving the comfort of everyday use.
Installation of the Express 2 mm underlay for panels - easy, quick and durable
Installation of the underlay for panels does not have to be difficult or time-consuming. It is important to start by preparing the subfloor - it should be clean, dry and even. This is the secret to a stable floor. Unroll the underlay with the foil facing upwards and lay the first row perpendicular to the direction in which you plan to lay the panels. Lay out the next rows next to each other, trying to make everything fit evenly. Finally, glue the joints between the strips and carefully seal the places where the underlay meets the wall - this guarantees the durability and solidity of the structure. Such a simple installation process gives the floor lasting support and a great look for years.
