Load Resistance
Underlays for panels offer high resistance to loads. Their durability is also due to their resistance to moisture.
Sound Insulation
Properly installed underlays help improve the floor’s acoustic insulation. They reduce noise, preventing sounds such as footsteps from travelling through the floor.
Heat Conductivity
The collection includes underlays made from materials with low thermal resistance. This means they conduct heat efficiently, making them suitable for rooms with underfloor heating.
Express 2 mm underlay for panels
The Express 2 mm underlay for panels ensures stable and comfortable use of the floor. Made of XPS material, i.e. extruded polystyrene, it is lightweight, highly resistant to moisture and has excellent insulating properties. Thanks to this, the floor is protected against damage, and the interior gains better acoustic and thermal insulation. The accordion shape means that the underlay can be quickly and efficiently laid out. The 2 mm thickness allows for subtle leveling of unevenness, while at the same time providing ideal support for the panels, extending their lifespan and improving the comfort of everyday use.
Installation of the Express 2 mm underlay for panels - easy, quick and durable
Installation of the underlay for panels does not have to be difficult or time-consuming. It is important to start by preparing the subfloor - it should be clean, dry and even. This is the secret to a stable floor. Unroll the underlay with the foil facing upwards and lay the first row perpendicular to the direction in which you plan to lay the panels. Lay out the next rows next to each other, trying to make everything fit evenly. Finally, glue the joints between the strips and carefully seal the places where the underlay meets the wall - this guarantees the durability and solidity of the structure. Such a simple installation process gives the floor lasting support and a great look for years.
What else distinguishes our Express 2 mm panel underlayment?
Our Express 2 mm underlay for panels measuring 1.18 x 5.1 m not only provides excellent acoustic and thermal insulation. Made of XPS material, which is resistant to water, the underlay is an effective barrier against moisture penetration and minimizes the risk of mold formation.
Thanks to this, your floor remains in perfect condition for many years, without worrying about its durability.

SPC Flooring FAQ
Can Vilo Stone flooring be installed in bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes. These floors are 100% waterproof. Moisture, splashes or spilled water do not cause swelling or delamination of the panels. Additionally, the Stone collection has an R10 slip resistance class, which increases safety on wet surfaces, e.g. after stepping out of the shower.
How is the installation done? Can I do it myself?
The Drop Lock system makes laying the panels easy and satisfying for DIY installation. However, if you want perfect finishing of difficult details and guaranteed watertightness in the bathroom, it is recommended to hire a professional installer who will properly prepare the subfloor.
Is SPC flooring noisy (does it click when walking)?
Although SPC panels are rigid, installing them on a dedicated underlay (e.g. Vilo Force) significantly reduces footstep noise and impact sounds. They are much quieter than traditional laminate flooring.
What is the wear class of these panels?
The Vilo Stone collection has a usage class of 33 (AC5), meaning it is suitable not only for residential use but also for heavy commercial traffic (offices, hotels, boutiques).
